Punjabi Typing

• Use the capital to type the letters subscribed with a dot below: T, Th, D, Dh, N, R, Rh, L, S
• Type G for ng & J for ñ
• Type sh or ç for ś
• Type aa, ii, uu (or A, I, U) for the long vowels ā, ī, ū
• Type M for ਂ (bindi) & MM for ਁ (adak bindi)
• Type H for ਃ (visarga)
• Type = for ਼ (nukta): dot below
• Type ee for ੰ
• Type x to get a half consonnant; example: type xr pour ‍੍ਰ
• Type / ou | pour । (punctuation)

Punjabi Language

Punjabi is an Indo-Aryan language. It has around 115 million speakers. Most of them are native to it and mainly belong to Pakistan and India. Writing Script of Punjabi Language

Shāhmukhī & Gurmukhī are the two writing systems used to write the Punjabi language. Shāhmukhī is a Perso-Arabic script used in Pakistan while Gurmukhī is an Abugida script developed from Landa script used in India.
